Recommendation: Dip the leather in water before the first use and squeeze out easily. Do not use any chemical agents.

Important note: A natural leather must not be used dry. It must first be completely soaked for optimal absorption of water. Then wring the leather out to the desired residual moisture. Now the leather is ready for use and guarantees optimum water absorption. New chamois leathers only develop their full absorbency after repeated use. Before that, it is essential to rinse out the tanning residues very well.
