Sanding mat2-sided grit 120~ p240 123x98x12mm
Application
Sanding mats are coated on 2 sides and achieve a perfect adaptation to the workpieces without sanding through thanks to the pressure distributing foam. Particularly suitable for processing (dry and wet sanding) paint, filler and lacquers - sanding of substrates, surfaces and profiles, wood sanding before lacquering, intermediate lacquer sanding on curves, flattened surfaces, profile rods, frames, sanding of small lacquer defects or also for wood fine sanding after soaking
Material
- approx. 123 x 98 x 12mm
- 2-sided silicon carbide
- Foam soft
Abrasives on foam backing are used today in all applications (dry and wet) where a flexible abrasive is required. They are the solution to many grinding problems. Simple, fast and safe. Special attention should be paid to the fact that by coating the foam directly with abrasive grain, a considerably finer sanding pattern is achieved.

Grit size 600 | micro fine plus | Grain (p) 4000 |
The carrier is foam. Therefore, scattered grit and the achieved grinding pattern differ in comparison to sandpaper.
We therefore state
Grit = scattered grit / image = corresponds approximately to the grinding pattern of sandpaper (e.g. grit 100 for abrasives on foam = comparable sandpaper approx. p 220).Materials - Aluminium
